My students are all East African- mainly Somali. They are all English Language Learners and receive 2 hours of ESL services weekly. My students are hard working kindergarten students and excited to learn! They inspire me as they are learning a second language. Last year was an amazing year seeing growth. I had some students come to school the first day not being able to communicate more than ten English words with me to ending the school year being able to have a full conversation with me. This year will be my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten. I can't wait to see what this school year has in store for the Kinders and myself!
