While the world is ever-changing and technology is now an every day part of life, current students are being engaged in learning programs that require some sort of computer device. Unfortunately, our classroom is only provided with two computers for students to work on a reading enrichment program entitled, "Smarty Ants." This program provides fun activities and games for them to complete which, in turn, provides them with the knowledge needed to sound out words, read, write, make sentences, and so much more. Students deserve diverse ways of learning in order to ensure that each child will be successful. By helping to fund the extra tablets and headphones, more students will be able to work on this program which will only lead to added success in the classroom. Students' eyes light up when a level is passed and they are able to print out a certificate to brag about! There are countless benefits and learning opportunities that can be made by providing more children with a technology option for learning!
