When students feel that they are heard it changes the way they approach learning. To establish a learning community, I have to ensure that everyone has a voice. Getting my students to feel comfortable in that voice is often challenging. I want them to know that what they have to say matters but it begins with listening. If I had the technology to help gage rich conversations, it will empower them to start learning from each other. With this microphone I can facilitate rich conversations between all my learners. It will no longer need to be, "WHAT DID SHE SAY?!" or "I COULD NOT HEAR YOU!". Instead students will be saying, "THAT'S A GREAT IDEA" or "I AGREE WITH YOU" or maybe even just "WOW! THAT HAPPENED TO YOU?". In my classroom, language and communication is key. My students need your help...
