The students had an opportunity to experience four centers this past Friday. They were able to choose materials, create, build, and explore while working collaboratively with their classmates. These centers provide meaningful opportunities for students to develop their fine motor skills, problem-solving skills, creativity, and social skills. It is wonderful to watch them work together, take turns, share materials, and help one another as they build and create.\r\n\r\nThe students were very excited when they first saw the new materials. They were eager to explore everything and immediately began talking about what they could build and create. They especially enjoyed working together with the Legos and STEM materials. There was lots of laughter and excitement as they shared ideas, took turns, and helped each other. It was great to see how naturally the materials encouraged collaboration while also building important fine motor and problem-solving skills.\r\n\r\nWe will continue to introduce more of the materials each Friday. This gives the students something to look forward to and to work towards during the week.
