Our school believes strongly in working as a small community to support one another as we strive to achieve our goals. To that end, all students take an advisory class in which they endeavor to become active readers and stronger critics of literature. My advisees are expected to read 25 books as a yearly education standard and then write a book review assessing each text that they choose. These young people are extremely motivated, hardworking and up to the challenge.
