I am a second year teacher, but this is my first year teaching kindergarten. Due to having a unique teaching assignment last year, this is my first year having a classroom. At this time I do not have many supplies for my students. Having these items will help make my classroom a fun and exciting place to learn. Kindergarten students love hands-on learning and using manipulatives. The manipulatives will be used to help my students be successful in their first year of school. My students will use the math counters to work on a wide variety of skills. Some of the skills include; sorting, counting, addition, subtraction, and many more. My student will use the letter stamps and beads, to work on letter recognition and creating words. These items will help my students have a fun and successful school year.
