"Everything in the universe has rhythm. Everything dances." This famous quote by Maya Angelou is what my life revolves around. I believe that dance education can inspire students to learn emotionally and physically about the history of dance and how it is the universal language between all cultures. Welcome to my Donors Choose Project. Please join me in working to support my students as they study dance and prepare for their future performances. This project that you can help fund, gives my students the opportunity to dance in actual dance attire, feel the stage lights reflecting off their costumes, see the support of their community, and have the excitement of performing after months of preparation. With your generosity, they can experience dance as an art form that may change their behavior, life choices, and better their grades in other academic fields.
