The fluorescent light filters requested in this project will help gain my students concentration throughout the day. The level of concentration my students have directly impacts their performance in the classroom. The harsh lighting in the classroom can lead to lack of concentration and undesired behaviors. Students become tired and stressed due to the fluorescent lights. In a research study, researchers concluded that reading difficulties as well as academic underachievement may be related to fluorescent lighting. The covers will allow my students to work in an environment that is welcoming and relaxing in order to increase academic achievement. These covers will provide a calming environment for my students to thrive in.
