Our school only provides black and white prints which limits our classroom creativity. For this project I am having my students use technology to create a powerpoint presentation of a specific spider of their choosing while we study all things spooky in the month of October. At the end of the project I would like to use color printing from the HP Office Jet printer to post my student's final power point page around the room to be admired. These materials will be used throughout the year in a variety of ways to promote a lifelong love of learning. I will be able to print eye-catching newsletters home, colorful visual aids for classroom posters, and the capability to copy an extra worksheet quickly for students who may have lost their work in class or made a mistake and would like to restart.
