Counting money, addition, subtraction, telling time, understanding people and cultures. These are many of the things my second grader's will be mastering this year. My students love technology and they have a fun time interacting with it. An Amazon Echo is the perfect classroom assistant because she can give my students instantaneous questions and answers to enhance their learning. Our morning routine consists of going over the calendar, number of the day, and how many days we've been in school. During this time we talk about odd and even numbers.Alexa can give students random numbers and they can decide if they are even or odd. She can also give students an amount of money and they can figure out how to make that amount using coins and bills. The possibilities are endless!
