Although traditionally students in our classroom would be seated in groups, Covid-19 safety measures have us sitting in rows. However, this means I am able to freely walk through the classroom and regularly facilitate student centered discussions. Students teaching one another with their background knowledge and ideas is common practice in our classroom. Students are encouraged to be independent and take risks in their learning. I hope to provide a safe learning environment that encourages mistakes along with the triumphs.

About my class
