My students are energetic, silly, and love to learn! Just like sitting in a chair for 8 hours a day is hard for us adults, it is even more challenging for a class of Kindergarten kiddos! I want to provide my class with a variety of seating options including wobble stools, yoga balls, floor cushions, stools, and kneeling pads to better suit their needs. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. Through research, I have seen evidence of amazing results from classrooms that offer flexible seating for their students. I know my students would benefit immensely from this project, and I can’t wait to share this exciting new strategy with them!
