I am a first year teacher and I am asking for materials to assist in making this year a memorable one for my Kindergarteners. Children are coming from a year spent in and out of school, and I want to ensure that I have a welcoming and comfortable classroom environment. These basic materials will make a world of difference for my first year of teaching. The construction paper, dry erase boards, erasers, and markers will help with daily classroom activities. The laminator, storage boxes, and pencil sharpener, are classroom staples. As a first year teacher, I believe it is crucial to have great classroom management. I believe that the wireless doorbell will lend a helping hand in getting my kiddos attention. The play-doh, stickers, and positive behavior chart are great incentives to help my kiddos try their best every day. The play-doh will also assist in the "calm down corner". These materials would greatly assist me getting my classroom ready for the first day of school. I want to make sure my students have all of the necessities they need to have a great school year.
