Sitting on a chair for long periods of time is often difficult for many 5 year olds. For this reason, I think it's a great idea for them to have some options in the classroom! I chose the comfy floor seats and awesome wobble cushions because they are vibrant colored and grab the students attention. Students feel more important when they get to make decisions for themselves. We may think that what they sit on is not correlated to their learning, however, if students aren't in a comfortable environment their focus to the instruction tends to diminish because they are thinking about going home. While the regular chairs will still be available for the students that prefer them, the floor seats and cushions will be an option for the students that need a little more comfort in the classroom. With your donation, you would help my students that struggle reach their full potential! By having flexible seating, students will have more freedom and responsibility which in turn may spark their love to be in the classroom!
