My students are a very diverse group of learners at a Title I school. They are not given a lot so I try my best to make school a warm and welcoming place. Generally, my students love learning and are able to accomplish great things on a daily basis. In my classroom they are completely engrossed in non-fiction reading instruction that requires them to become deep thinkers about the world around them. They love to share ideas and learning with one another, but seldom have the opportunity to sit together as a comfortable group.
