My students and I have been wishing for an inviting rug that allows for ample leg room while still providing us with the opportunity to share a common space. As simple as a rug may seem to some, to us, this rug grants us a means to continue sharing our thoughts and experiences in an engaging and friendly manner. My goal with this project is to continue creating a warm and collaborative environment that defeats the monotony of static classrooms, and encourages change and creativity. This special rug will play a major role throughout our school year as it will be the central area where students will meet daily for lessons, discussions, and activities for every subject.
