As I write this on 11/10/23, an observed holiday for tomorrow’s Veteran’s Day, I have received an amazing amount of essays,which hopefully shows the ownership, the responsibility & stamina of my Senior classes. I couldn’t be prouder!! They are my joie de vivre away from home! I have been exceedingly blessed by incredible youth who have shown their efforts all semester. They easily could have taken off their holiday. I do hope they did enjoy a little! They are hard workers and are some of Buckeye Union’s Best! I am proud of their efforts & grateful to teach them! Yes, every student has shortcomings. So help them strengthen their weaknesses! Life is not utopian, but as long as their drive & willingness (ganas!) is there, I will pull the rest of the weight! We must remember that they are continually learning & practicing. They have become great writerson their own. Now, they have to allow themselves to believe it!
