My technology students learn technology using the ISTE standards. This is the first year my students have ever had a technology course. By donating to our school, you are providing these students more than just technology, you are providing skills these students will continue to use forever! Problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting are all skills that are taught and continue to grow. Imagine how excited a student gets when they can figure something out on their own, rather than being told what to do. Spheros and Bloxels will allow my students to advancing their programming skills. The students will program the sphero to problem solve, navigate, and troubleshoot difference challenges. They will use Bloxels to create games, which they can use to challenge one another. Many questions we use as adults can easily translate into questions students can use such as, "What caused my programmed sphero, not to get to it's target?", "How can I improve my programming to ensure it will always reach the goal?", "What happens if I change this?", etc...
