Hello! My name is Brian Vedder, and I just began my career as a first-year, 8th grade English Language Arts instructor at Korematsu Middle School in El Cerrito, California. My students are hard-working, inquisitive, and want to succeed. They report feeling safe and supported here. Our school is unique because it brings together students of all different cultures, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. My students are enthusiastic about their schoolwork and the many opportunities that they encounter in middle school, and I want to get them as many resources as possible to foster their growth throughout the year ahead!
