My students are trying their best to succeed in a low socio-economic, high-needs district. Many come from single parent households and broken families. School is a safe place for them to come everyday with people who provide a warm and welcoming learning environment. Knowing that they have people who care about them and are willing to help them succeed, pushes my students to put their all into their education.
