I am a fifth-year teacher, who is excited to begin a year full of learning, experiences, and growth. I come with some prior knowledge to how a class works, as well as experience in socio-emotional problems. I come from a background of marriage and family therapy, where I spent two years working to build the emotional and social well-being of families. I bring my scholars a combination of high-quality, data driven instruction, as well as personalized character lessons, in order to have a safe classroom, where all students have the potential to succeed and the self-esteem to try, even when it is difficult. Our class also has the opportunity to discuss world events, and to look at them from a sociological lens, as well as the ability to process these issues and traumas that impact my students on a day to day basis!
