Since March of 2020 all of the students in our city have been learning under a distance learning model. The pandemic has had a significant impact on our school community. Many have been personally impacted by the cases of COVID in the neighborhoods and own homes. Through it all, my students have been working hard at home and have been submitting their assignments despite technology and connectivity issues. Researched states that an essential component of student-learning is timely and specific feedback. The current system that I have of providing feedback to my students is a slow and cumbersome task. Our Learning Management System does not allow for quick, effective feedback. I knew there had to be a faster, more effective tool to do this. After extensive research on effective strategies within our LMS, the iPad and Apple pencil was the recommended choice that would allow for quick, effective feedback to be given to all students. Students will be able to see exactly how to improve their written work. My students are doing their very best every single day. I am so impressed with their dedication and perseverance. Please help me get feedback to my students in a timely manner.
