Grab your favorite book, a cup of coffee, and go set at your desk- WAIT! Is that how it goes? NO way! When you think of reading for enjoyment, you think of curling up on the comfy couch with a good book. Guess what? Kids are the SAME! They want to be comfy when reading, too! This is why I am requesting bean bag chairs to be added to my reading center. These chairs sit nicely on the floor, hold up well, and are enjoyed by the students. Students will have an alternative seating choice during fluency center and DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time. Double the use! I can't wait, and neither can my students!
