Augmentative communication materials and devices, are tools used for individuals with speech and language disabilities to perform communication functions that might otherwise be difficult or impossible. Our students are non-verbal communicators and need tools to express their wants and needs as well as socialize with others. My project is to buy ink for the computer, so that we can design instructional activities, picture symbols, visual supports, and communication boards for my students who use augmentative/alternative communication to better function throughout their day and in society.
