Throughout the day, I see 105 wonderful 7th grade scholars. They are very excited about reading and learning. My scholars work hard every day, and truly value their education. They love learning in hands-on, engaging ways. The 3 classes I see include 14 English Language Learners and 7 students with special needs. We are in a public school in a very low-income, urban setting in Illinois. Many of the students have limited access to resources outside of the school, so I want to make sure they are never without when they are in the classroom.

About my class
