My third grade students come from diverse backgrounds including various cultures, languages, as well as from low-income homes. The school has about 40% of its students who qualified for free and reduced lunch services. Our Transitional Kindergarten through sixth grade school has around 480 students and strives to prepare students for their future paths. My students are eager to learn. I am working to create and maintain an engaging and effective learning environment for my students. In addition, my students work hard and are excited about new opportunities. I am continually working to strengthen my teaching as well as my students' learning.
