A larger classroom carpet with designated spaces for everyone to sit will greatly help my students have a more comfortable learning environment. In primary grades, having a functional carpet is essential. My students sit on the carpet throughout the day. We use our carpet for morning meetings, whole group instruction, math groups, read alouds, and more! Currently, my students sit on a small carpet and do not have very much space. The new carpet will provide a set place for each student to sit without feeling crowded. All of my students will benefit from having a larger carpet with designated spots to call their own.
