My students are in the heart of a big city in an impoverished area. They have limited experiences outside of the school day. They rarely ever leave the neighborhood they live in. They have little or no technology access at home. In spite of all the challenges against them, they come to school every day, ready, willing, and able to learn! I would like to give them as many meaningful learning opportunities I can give them while I am their teacher.
