I teach students who are constantly being tested per the Florida Standards and this can be very difficult for them, as they are taking a test almost every three weeks. These tests plays a huge part in them being able to pass the class as well as to graduate high school. As I get to know these students and work them, they need all the encouragement that they can possibly get. Students sometimes do not have the resources to buy something to eat, and during these stressful times as they test as well as when they just need something to eat, it's very important to feed them so they remain focused and will be able to learn. Over the past three years, I have always rewarded my students whenever they improve on a test, do well on a Kahoot quiz, or for just being respectful. They love anything from a small candy bar to a pack of chips. I want to continue to keep them motivated, as well as to feed their brains so they can be successful. Thank you for your help as you consider donating to my project to help my students achieve their goal of graduating.
