These materials will help me create a welcoming classroom environment and provide my students with access to various, inclusive books that will promote them to develop a love for reading all year round. By donating to our project, you will be providing our class with resources that will help make my students feel safe, welcomed and ultimately foster a joy for school and learning. Flexible seating will be used throughout the day, especially during our group rotations and community building activities. All of the books will be used to start building my own classroom library that will be used to promote students to engage with reading material that is grade-level, inclusive, and related to real-world issues.
