My students are struggling learners who have the drive to be successful when approached in a way that will make them feel smart. All of their academic lives, they have believed they do not measure up. However, when taught in a way that meets their academic needs, my students DO have the ability to learn. More often than not, they DO rise to the challenge. The goal for my classroom is to create an environment that leads to academic success through respect, responsibility, and consistency within the academic setting.

About my class
