We are a Title 1 school. The majority of our students qualify for the free lunch program. We are in one of the poorest districts in our state. The schools in our district are struggling to find ways to get our kids more involved with reading. After attending some training and being shown data that it works, I am trying to bring back the arts. My class will be involved in bringing music, art, dance, and drama back to the classroom.
