I would like to switch things up in my high school classroom. Students are demanding more active learning, that they are fully engaged in, and not just listening to a teacher talk. Students need a different kind of classroom setting, not just the regular rows of desks. Therefore, I would like to have a classroom with multiple learning sections, all of which are centered around students collaborating with each other. Students will be able to sit at common tables or in small groups to discuss and analyze social concepts, which will create deeper thinkers, strong collaborators and responsible members of society.
