Being a resource teacher is amazing! You get to see lots of different classes each day, with lots of different aged students! My art classroom becomes messy with paint and other supplies and needs to be cleaned after every single class! This includes disinfecting tables for a new grade level to come in, spraying supply caddies to get germs off drawing materials, and sanitizing other high frequency surface areas. Being a resource teacher also means necessary supplies such as tissues, wipes, and hand sanitizer so not get donated to you from your class at the beginning of the year which are still essential items in any classroom! Lastly, my art trailer does not have a sink so it is difficult for students to clean their hands when we paint or use pastels. Baby wipes are essential in my classroom to provide my students with a way to clean themselves before heading back into the school to give themselves a through scrub.
