My students are wonderful, fun-loving kids who want nothing more than to learn at school. However, it can be difficult for them to focus on learning when they are worried about when they will eat again! I provide snack from my students at the end of every day so they can have food in their stomachs when they go home. Each of my students receives free breakfast and lunch every day. We are in a high poverty area and many parents cannot afford to send a snack with their child. I am asking for Goldfish crackers that will give them a little extra energy boost! I believe this will help keep them focused on their work and will ultimately help them learn better. It's very hard to work when you're hungry so I would like to help my students in any way that I can.
