My students are curious, capable, and full of potential, but many are still learning how to believe in themselves. I teach high school biology in South Carolina, where my classroom is more than a place to learn science. It is a space where students practice thinking, problem solving, and managing challenges when learning feels hard. Many of my students face obstacles outside of school that impact focus, confidence, and skill development. What they need most are engaging, hands-on experiences to truly understand science and stay motivated. In our classroom, we build models, run labs, and connect biology to real life. I want my students to see themselves as scientists, not just students completing work. Your support helps create a space where students feel safe to try, struggle, and grow, while turning abstract concepts into real, meaningful learning.
