Art is the most under utilized form of expression, as time continues to evolve. Studio Art is even further down the pyramid. By giving students access to materials that are not a common form of medium, like graphite, charcoal and tempera paint, then it will give them more of an opportunity to be involved in the creative process of making art. Art is seen as their escape, for those students who opt into being involved in the artistry itself. I anticipate that these materials help bring forth their willingness to learn, their willingness to participate and their willingness to succeed.

About my class
