Engaging, Creating, And Sharing!
Funded Feb 7, 2017Thank you so much for supporting our art room! We love our Osmo and iPad! Osmo is an award winning hands-on gaming system that fosters creativity and problem solving skills, and the children beg to visit the technology station to create masterpieces on the Osmo!
With the help of an iPad, students have become engaged in the learning process while using Osmo, and have shared their creations and photographs with family and friends. I have shared their masterpieces on the classroom's website, and it has proved to give confidence and a sense of accomplishment to my students! Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Jan 12, 2017Thank you very much for supporting our classroom! My students absolutely love using Plickers as an assessment tool, and the iPad has allowed me to grade in a fun and unique way! The students love seeing the anonymous results shine up on the SmartBoard! My students have also been able use the iPad in many other ways. They have created drawings via the ProCreate app, and have used the iPad with our Ozobots and Osmo. Technology in the art room is proving to be extremely exciting and engaging! r”

Back to Basics in the ART Room!
Funded Nov 21, 2016I have been amazed by the support I have been given by friends, family, and complete strangers. Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. Like an amazing pencil sharpener. Pencils are sharpened in less than three seconds. The kids constantly talk about the magical pencil sharpener! Paper seems to constantly disappear in the art room, and with DonorsChoose, I have been able to give the students quality paper to make their very own painted creations! They tell me almost daily how much they love the "NICE" paper! Every supply is appreciated. Every item allows my students to excel in my classroom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your heart and investing in my students' learning.”
