Art supplies can be quite pricey, especially items used by everyone. I have requested items that will be used for various projects, not just one! The lightboxes will be used by all future artists! In the past I've had to have students crammed on the windows, turn off all the lights, and hope that today was a sunny day so my students could trace. With the use of lightboxes the students will be able to feel like professionals! The wire will be used so we can do 3D art! I may have counter space but nowhere proper to store 3D work so I've always been nervous about storing things that would be hard to label with the sheer amount of students I get per class. With the wire we can make people and animal sculptures that will fit right into their pizza art boxes! I know the kids will be excited to work with a new material! Finally, the posable figures are a staple in any art class! My artists always want to learn how to draw people and now they can have the most direct way possible! Having a figure on your desk that you can move and bend so you can practice drawing different poses would be essential to their artistic learning journey!
