Each year, I support my student by purchasing materials and resources for the classroom. For the past two years, my students needed support while they learned from home. Because of this, much of previously purchased materials and resources went home with my students. Now that we are back in the classroom, I would like to continue to encourage students to engage in learning and work collaboratively. As many other teachers can attest, it has been a challenge to keep students engaged, and to have students work collaboratively. By contributing to this project, you will not only be helping with student engagement and collaboration but also helping with the progression of their learning. The materials in this project will do just that. Whiteboards help students 1. interact with learning in real-time, 2. demonstrate their learning in a visual way, and 3. work collaboratively with other classmates. Aside from that, the digital presentation pointer will allow me to move freely about the classroom to support students and check their learning. The flashlights and headlamps will also increase engagement. Finally, the other materials will help me make our classroom into a welcoming learning environment where I can highlight the wonderful learning.
