My school is in a low income district where many students are on free and reduced lunch. However all of my students put forth their best efforts, but many items are held back by the smallest circumstances. Things that we take for granted such as having a pencil, a piece of paper, and a notebook waiting for you at home if you need it. Many of my students are too embarrassed to ask for items they need - even when they know it will help better their education.
