I am requesting a Q-ball speaker and fidget toys. The Q-ball speaker is a handheld device that will assist in students' ability to project their voices, even if they typically speak in a whisper tone. Students in my class have difficulty maintaining focus for long periods of time and need brain breaks to fidget. I am also requesting fidget devices that students can use during their brain breaks to decrease anxiety, and increase focus during class instruction. An example of one of the fidget toys is a visual liquid motion bubble timer. This is a calming non-disruptive way to decrease anxiety. The purpose of this product is to enhance students' voices to improve their confidence. The fidget devices will increase their ability to focus and maintain a level of calmness.
