Children today need more options than simply using paper and pencil to learn! Keeping kids engaged is the beginning of successful learning and my students will love using this light tablet and accessories for awesome center time! I plan for my students to begin using this light tablet as a center for sorting letters (uppercase and lowercase, consonants and vowels, curved letters and straight letters) at the beginning of the year and slowly evolving to using those letters to spell their names, sight words, vocabulary words... invented words! In math, my students will be using this for everything from patterns, to sorting, addition and subtraction, shape formation... the list goes on and on!
