I am honored to teach technology to over 700 children at a school that is 97% English Language Learners. We have students from over 30 different countries, including the United States. We are a Title I school, with numerous needs. Our refugee population grew from 18% to 34% in just nine months. Our community helps us provide additional clothing, shoes, and foods to our families. My students have little to no access to technology outside of our school building. Technology provides an opportunity to extend the learning outside of the classroom, provide opportunities for higher order thinking skills, and promotes collaboration among the students. With your support, I can provide these essential learning opportunities to my students. Help us acquire the needed items for our classroom, so I can help continue providing these learning challenges to my students. Their decisions today impact their future. How amazing is that?
