This flexible seating will allow my students to choose where they sit to learn. This is so important because every student learns differently. Some need to move around in order to focus. Studies have shown that many children need to move to learn in the least restrictive environment. The least restrictive environment is an atmosphere that fosters learning in a way that enhances student learning. My students are particularly wiggly this year, and I am confident these seating options encourage students to focus and allow them to learn well! 21st century classrooms are moving away from traditional chairs and desks so students are free to move around as they learn and have more space to do so. I can't wait to see what they accomplish!
