My students are going to paint rocks as part of a larger community project. Students will create inspirational sayings and drawings on rocks that will be hidden around town for people in the community to find. This is a fun and engaging hands on project that allows students to show their artistic skills and creativity. Our goal is to spread kindness throughout the school and our community with our inspirational rocks. When people find the rocks, they can either keep them or re-hide them. Students and families are able to track where their rocks go on our WEYMOUTH ROCKS! facebook page which has 1.5 people on it.
