Welcome to the Sunnymead Middle School Science Experience where students find that science is accessible through scientific inquiry, curiosity, and systemic experimentation. Our students are an eclectic bunch of young adults that value hands-on learning. We service students from Moreno Valley. I would like for my students to explore the world of STEM through equitable experiences they will never forget. My students come from a variety of unique backgrounds, learning levels and personal goals. A number of them are considered disadvantaged or exceptional students. Imagine trying to learn about science without any materials. The concepts presented to most of my students are so abstract, they cannot apply it by just reading about the concept through books alone. It is imperative to provide students with rich experiences so that they can understand science first-hand.
