I am a Special Education Resource teacher in a rural elementary school in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The majority of the students I serve have learning disabilities in reading, writing, and math. My job is to boost skills that students are struggling with and help them make progress toward meeting their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals. This is my fourth year working in an elementary school setting and my students are like my own children. My goal is to teach, love, and appreciate them for all of their wonderful qualities.
