My school is home to students who, every day, smile and say, "Good morning!" like it's the best day of their lives. They make pictures and cards for teachers "just because." They laugh out loud when they get to a funny part of a book. And they have bright futures that need to be encouraged. Despite being a high poverty population, our students work hard and value learning. Approximately 90% of our students are Hispanic, and many of these students are English Language Learners. Though our school does not have the most current technology, we are committed to providing our students with educational experiences that will develop in them a curiosity about our world.

About my class
