When my project is fully funded, my students will have a more extensive classroom library in which to enrich, intrigue, and hone their reading skills with more challenging and interesting texts. I have a plethora of reading levels in my room, from Grades 2 to Grades 12 and I want a variety for each one of them. Unfortunately, our school library has limited resources and the kids do not have a lot of reading material to choose from. I am hoping that with the books I choose, not only will I be able to rekindle a child's love for reading, but even ignite a love for reading that will turn them into life-long learners.
